Tonight we’ll gather for introductions as we share an aperitivo and a delicious Welcome Dinner.
Day 2
ALTA BADIA
Venture out to explore the winter wonderland in this valley dominated by the classic Dolomites peak of Sassolungo and the majestic Sella massif mountain group. A short shuttle ride will take us to the heart of the alpine village Selva Val Gardena where we can access a network of trails, on our own or with a local ski guide. For lunch, we will stop in a local rifugio— or mountain hut— for traditional alpine cuisine. Tonight, enjoy a wine tasting followed by a traditional fondue dinner at a local restaurant.
Day 3
MARMOLADA
Enjoy another amazing day in the mountains, engaging in the activity of your choice. Along the way, pause to refuel at one of the many alpine rifugios, which offer hearty regional dishes, warm drinks, and breathtaking mountain views. An option for those not skiing is to visit Ortisei, the charming main village of Val Gardena. Learn about the ancient Ladin culture, unique to the Dolomites, which contains a mix of Italian, Tyrolean, and Austrian influences. This evening we’ll gather to share stories of our adventures over a wine-paired dinner at the hotel.
Day 4
PASSO SELLA
Skiers have an opportunity today to embark on the Sellaronda, an iconic ski route that circles the majestic Sella massif, offering breathtaking scenery and an unforgettable experience. Accessible to intermediate skiers, this spectacular circuit covers approximately 40 kilometers, including both ski slopes and lifts. Join a local mountain guide and traverse four mountain passes on this route connecting the Ladin valleys of Val Gardena, Alta Badia, Val di Fassa, and Arabba. This evening, we have a special experience in store with a snowcat ride up to Sella Pass for a delicious wine-paired dinner at Rifugio Fienile Monte, a warm and elegant mountain hut, known for its fusion of Italian cuisine and Ladin tradition as well as its legendary wine cellar.
Day 5
SOUTH TYROL
Check out this morning as we descend from our snow-covered surroundings to a lower elevation. Our destination is the vibrant city of Bolzano (or Bozen in German), the capital of the South Tyrol province and one of Europe’s main crossroads for centuries. On the way, we’ll stop at a maso (or mountain farm) with a working winery for our first introduction to the vineyards and traditions of South Tyrolean winemaking. Enjoy a tasting and lunch before continuing to Bolzano. Upon arrival, we’ll join a local guide for a walking tour of the old town. Afterward, we’ll head to our hotel for check in and time to relax. This evening, we’ll meet for a wine tasting and a gourmet dinner in the hotel’s cantina.
Day 6
STRADA DEL VINO
This morning we'll explore Alto Adige— Italy's northernmost wine-producing area, renowned for its distinctive and diverse wines. Venturing on the South Tyrolean Wine Road, visit a family-owned winery focused on quality and innovation. Learn about their history and biodynamic practices, tour their cellar, and enjoy a guided tasting of their wines followed by a special lunch. Next, stop in the mountainside village of Termeno (or Tramin) for a tour and tasting at a second winery known for award-winning wines and sustainable and organic winemaking methods.
Day 7
ALTO ADIGE DOC
This morning, we’ll venture north to explore the world-class sparkling wines of the Alto Adige region where we'll visit the highest sparkling wine producer in Europe. The mountain viticulture of Alto Adige, characterized by its steep terraces, high altitude, and significant day-night temperature variations, creates an ideal microclimate for cultivating grapes with high acidity and aromatic complexity.
Afterward, we'll make our way to a restored medieval castle overlooking Bolzano for a festive Farewell Lunch followed by free time for last-minute shopping, packing, and relaxing.

Questions? Get in touch.
This trip has been designed to include daily exploratory walks that range from one to three hours. Each day, whether touring a city or winery, guests should be prepared to be on their feet for multiple continuous hours. Guests should feel comfortable strolling along cobbled surfaces, walking up and down stairs, and sauntering down uneven nature paths. Europe tends to have Old World infrastructure (narrow cobblestone streets, lack of elevators, etc.), which can leave some areas inaccessible. Typically, our more invigorating walks are included as optional activities. If your mobility is limited in any way, or if you have questions, please contact our Guest Services team at guestservices@experi.com.
Note: Group maximum is based on double occupancy. The itinerary is subject to change or substitution at any time. You can learn more at experi.com/terms.
