Day 1
ARRIVE INNSBRUCK
Land at the Innsbruck Airport where an Experi driver will greet you and transport you south across the border of Austria and Italy to our accommodations in the spectacular mountain landscape of the Dolomites— a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Tonight we’ll gather for introductions as we share an aperitivo and a delicious Welcome Dinner.
Day 2
SELVA VAL GARDENA
Venture out to explore the winter wonderland that awaits in this valley dominated by the classic Dolomites peak of Sassolungo and the majestic Sella massif mountain group. A short shuttle ride will take us to the heart of alpine village Selva Val Gardena where we can access a network of trails, on our own or with local ski guides. For lunch, perhaps stop into a rifugio— or mountain hut— and enjoy a sampling of traditional alpine cuisine. Afternoon and evening are open to indulge in après ski and enjoy dinner at the hotel.
Day 3
VAL GARDENA & PASSO SELLA
Enjoy another amazing day in the mountains, engaging in the activity of your choice. Pause to refuel at one of the many rifugios along the way, some of which are accessible by skiers and non-skiers alike. An option non-skiers may be interested in arranging is a visit to Ortisei, the charming main village of Val Gardena. Learn about the ancient Ladin culture, unique to the Dolomites, which contains a mix of Italian, Tyrolean, and Austrian influences.
This evening, we have a special experience in store with a snowcat ride up to Sella Pass for a delicious wine-paired dinner at Rifugio Fienile Monte, a warm and elegant mountain hut, known for its fusion of Italian cuisine and Ladin tradition as well as its legendary wine cellar.
Day 4
SELLARONDA
Skiers have a special opportunity today to embark on the Sellaronda, an iconic ski route that circles the majestic Sella massif, offering breathtaking scenery and an unforgettable experience. Accessible to intermediate skiers, this spectacular circuit covers approximately 40 kilometers, including both ski slopes and lifts. Join local mountain guides and traverse four mountain passes in a day on this route connecting the Ladin valleys of Val Gardena, Alta Badia, Val di Fassa, and Arabba. This evening, we’ll gather to share stories of our adventures over a wine-paired dinner at the hotel.
Day 5
SOUTH TYROL
Check out this morning as we descend from our snow-covered surroundings to a lower elevation. Our destination is the vibrant city of Bolzano (or Bozen in German), the capital of the South Tyrol province and one of Europe’s main crossroads for centuries. Bolzano features a rich blend of Austrian and Italian heritages, and it may come as a surprise that up to 70% of the population speaks German as their first language. Upon arrival, we’ll join a local guide for a walking tour of the old town with its well-preserved medieval buildings, ancient churches, and picturesque piazzas. Afterward, have free time for lunch and an open afternoon to stroll the cobblestone streets. This evening, we’ll meet for a wine tasting followed by a gourmet dinner in the hotel’s cantina featuring South Tyrolean dishes prepared in Mediterranean style.
Day 6
TRENTO DOC
Today we venture south to explore the world-class sparkling wines from the prestigious Trento DOC appellation. The mountain viticulture of Trentino, characterized by its steep terraces, high altitude, and significant day-night temperature variations, creates an ideal microclimate for the cultivation of grapes with high acidity and aromatic complexity. This unique terroir, combined with the region's mineral-rich soils, is particularly well-suited for producing exceptional sparkling wines. We'll visit a landmark winery in the tradition of Trentino sparkling wines for a tour and guided tasting followed by a wine-paired lunch at a nearby restaurant. Afterward, return to the property with the remainder of the afternoon and evening open to explore Bolzano.
Day 7
ALTO ADIGE DOC
This morning we'll explore Alto Adige— Italy's northernmost wine-producing area, renowned for its distinctive and diverse wines. Venturing on the South Tyrolean Wine Road, visit a family-owned winery focused on quality and innovation and learn about their history and biodynamic practices, tour their cellar, and enjoy a guided tasting of their wines. Next, we'll stop in the mountainside village of Termeno (or Tramin) and have some free time and an open lunch before a tour and tasting at a second winery known for their award-winning wines and sustainable and organic winemaking methods. This evening, we'll gather to toast our journey and share a festive Farewell Dinner.

Questions? Get in touch.
This trip has been designed to include daily exploratory walks that range from one to three hours. Each day, whether touring a city or winery, guests should be prepared to be on their feet for multiple continuous hours. Guests should feel comfortable strolling along cobbled surfaces, walking up and down stairs, and sauntering down uneven nature paths. Europe tends to have Old World infrastructure (narrow cobblestone streets, lack of elevators, etc.), which can leave some areas inaccessible. Typically, our more invigorating walks are included as optional activities. If your mobility is limited in any way, or if you have questions, please contact our Guest Services team at guestservices@experi.com.
