Croatia, September - October 2023

 

Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars hosted an unforgettable journey to Croatia, where club members had the opportunity to delve into the rich history and culture of this region. During this voyage, our members traveled through spectacular landscapes along the Adriatic Sea, savored the tastes of local wines and traditional meals, and strolled along the ancient cobbled streets and alleys of Dubrovnik and Split.

Tuscany & Umbria, October 2022

 

In October, Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars club members traveled to the fabled regions of Tuscany and Umbria for a special wine experience featuring visits to three Antinori estates. Along the way, they visited medieval hill towns and ancient cellars, strolled through cobblestone streets and historic piazzas, and tasted award-winning wines and traditional local specialties.

 

Sicily, May 2022

 

Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars club members traveled to the island of Sicily—the crossroads of the Mediterranean— once inhabited by Phoenicians, Greeks, Romans, and Normans. During the trip, they sipped wine produced from the volcanic slopes of Mount Etna, explored the Greek Theater in the fashionable resort town of Taormina, and savored meals prepared from the freshest local ingredients as they immersed themselves in the culture and history of this rugged and beautiful island.

Back by popular demand, Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars club members and friends returned to Tuscany to experience the spectacular tastes and sights that make this destination a perennial favorite. During the week, the group enjoyed exclusive wine tastings, savored freshly-prepared traditional Tuscan dishes, traveled through the rolling countryside dotted with vineyards and olive groves, and explored the cobblestone streets and historic treasures of Siena, Cortona, and Florence— making new friends along the way.

Judgment of Paris
September - October 2021

 

Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars club members were invited to join us on a custom behind-the-scenes exploration of Bordeaux, Paris, and for those who joined the extension, Burgundy. This custom trip was to celebrate our 45th Anniversary of the Judgment of Paris, a tasting that revolutionized the wine world. We explored France’s finest wineries and vineyards that were blind tasted against California wines and Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars’ 1973 Cabernet Sauvignon which won top honors, placing Napa Valley at the forefront of the world of fine wines.

Catalonia, September 2019

 

Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars hosted an unforgettable adventure in Spain’s spectacular Catalonia region. There, guests discovered the amazing wines, cuisine, and culture that make this corner of northeastern Spain so distinctive. They spent time visiting Stag's Leap Wine Cellars prestigious winemaking partner, the Bodegas Torres. Guests also enjoyed exclusive access at their properties throughout Penedès and Priorat. Guests tasted the region’s best flavors, experienced the best of Barcelona, and discovered Catalan traditions in the Mediterranean countryside.

For a third time, Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars invited wine club members and friends to join them on another exclusive visit to Tuscany. In addition to visiting three Antinori properties, this time guests dined at Osteria di Passignano, a Michelin starred restaurant, visited ancient cellars, and savored a traditional dinner at La Cantinetta Antinori at the Antinori Palace in Florence. Along the way, they also experienced several cooking workshops, visited the charming towns of Siena and Cortona, revisited the famous sites of Florence, and experienced many more adventures.

Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars invited club members to join them on two magical journeys to Tuscany. They visited three classic properties belonging to the Antinori Family — one of Italy’s oldest wine producers and part-owner of Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars since 2007. Guests enjoyed an exclusive tasting and tour at the Antinori Winery in Chianti, indulged in authentic dishes at the Abbey of Passignano, and savored a traditional dinner at La Cantinetta Antinori at the Antinori Palace in Florence. Along the way, guests also experienced several cooking workshops, the charming towns of Siena and Cortona, the famous sites of Florence, and much more.
